The warm and friendly environment at King-Bruwaert gives residents an opportunity to direct their own lifestyle. Enjoy a comfortable and stylish studio, two-, or three-room suite with 24/7 access to nurses and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) if needed.
A weekly mix of life enrichment activities are highlighted by fitness sessions, card games, horticulture and art classes, spiritual programs, games, and entertainment. Scheduled transportation accommodates local shopping trips or appointments, and three daily meals feature tasty menu options inclusive of personal preferences and nutritional needs.
We are pleased to offer our recently renovated assisted living option located in our historic manor home. Carrington Hall suites include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and washer/dryer units within a unique light-filled layout utilizing space efficiency. Services include daily meals offered at two dining venues, weekly housekeeping, laundry service, bed linen change, trash removal, scheduled transportation, social services, individualized care plans, and a variety of daily activities.
The House and Bridge
When King-Bruwaert House was built, the details revealed volumes about our community. Today, as when KBH first opened, private, assisted living suites overlook our pastoral 35-acre setting. Residents enjoy the regal splendor of ornate fireplaces, hand-carved wood moldings, exquisite chandeliers, and stunning architecture. Assisted living residents receive a commitment from our team of dedicated professionals to continue to provide innovative care, health and wellness services. Residents have the option of choosing suites that are identified as either House or Bridge suites. Both offer the same level of care and services, the only difference is the location in the Manor Home. Our continuum of care appeals to those who wish to stay within our community and benefit from higher-level services if healthcare needs change. Transitions within care levels may be temporary or permanent, as recommended by our medical team.
