Sales are nearing completion for one of the largest residential projects ever undertaken by King-Bruwaert House (KBH) in Burr Ridge. Only seven homes remain available for The Gardens of KBH, 43 independent living, luxury apartment homes that will become part of the KBH continuing care community. One- and two-bedroom units are available and strong interest continues for the beautiful homes with high end appointments. The Gardens will feature classic Georgian architecture blending gracefully into a scenic, wooded setting. The new apartment residences are just steps away from a walking path, two ponds, a variety of gardens, fenced-in dog park, and a flowing tributary of Flagg Creek.

Additional amenities at The Gardens (and the greater KBH community) include a new fitness center with spa, game room, several dining options, a lounge with bar, library, theater, a community garden, as well as a chapel. An enclosed glass walkway connects The Gardens to our existing Manor Home, providing temperature-controlled access to a full range of services and activities.

Site work is currently under way for the all-brick, three-story building. Foundation work is expected to begin by late October. The Gardens’ homes are tentatively scheduled to be completed in Winter 23/24.

The Burr Ridge location is ideal for those, age 60 and better, who prioritize a carefree lifestyle, along with quality care and services. For more information, contact Andy Beltz at (630) 230-9520 or andyb@kbhouse.org.
